Okkkk, I admit I've been giving you the impression that our little community is all friendly and peaceful. That's not the case with our slaters and canned crabs - they are, unfortunately, bitter enemies! As the story goes, the feud began when a rogue slater mortally wounded a King Crab with can opener. But it was scores of lunar cycles ago so no one really knows.
Regardless of what happened way back then, the slaters and the canned crabs battle non-stop. If you are brave enough (I've never tried myself because the lava could melt me) you can ride a slater or a crab while they battle. The Meep Meeps do it all the time - they call it Bonko Riding and think it's fun! Maybe you're as crazy as they are and will enjoy it too.
